If you’re a fan of instant gratification, that may be in conflict with your love of DIY projects. After all, most DIY projects require some elbow grease and more than a little time.
However, Crystal of the blog Happily Ever Uncluttered recently discovered that you can accomplish a kitchen upgrade in less than 3 hours when you use Aspect Peel & Stick Stone Tiles.
Here’s what she had to say: “We found the tile we wanted and application of the product took less than three hours. Three hours! Usually for DIY projects I always have my husband in my back pocket for the labor part of it all. But, I am excited to tell you that I did this project with no husband in sight. In fact, I didn’t even tell him I was going to do it. He left for work and before he got home that evening our kitchen looked different. How fun is that!!!”
The post is here, so be sure to read the whole thing. And check out the other posts she has on site. There’s tons of great information on organization and much more!
Think about how much you spend doing laundry. Being able to do this necessary evil in a beautiful space would probably make the task a bit more pleasant, right?
That’s what Tammy of the blog “Hey Fitzy” says. She recounts how when she found her house five years ago she got lucky with a large space with a wall of cabinets, utility sink and washer and dryer. But aesthetically it wasn’t anything to write home about.
To spruce it up, she decided to use our new Aspect Stone Peel & Stick tile in Weathered Quartz, one of 9 available stone options we offer at DIY Décor Store. This revolutionary lightweight and flexible tile product is made of genuine, thin-cut stone for the look and texture of designer stone tile, at a fraction of the price. It can be cut with a scissors or snips and requires no contractor, grout, mortar, or complicated or expensive tools.

Last month, I had the pleasure of attending Haven, a design and DIY blogging conference in Atlanta, Ga. My company sponsored a lunch and learn session with our Aspect Peel & Stick metal, glass and stone backsplash panels.
We had the opportunity to meet with some of the best and the brightest in the DIY blogger community, learn about tools, products and projects, and what’s new and hot in the DIY world.
One of those best and brightest was Wendy Scheel, of Old Lake George blog and an Etsy store by the same name.
Wendy wanted to give our Aspect stone tiles a whirl but as luck would have it, she had completed a backsplash project of her own just a few weeks prior. Instead, she decided to install our Aspect Iron Slate peel and stick tiles at the home of Jimmy and Nikki, her neighbors. Iron Slate is one of 9 colors offered in the new Aspect stone line which consists of a revolutionary lightweight and flexible tile product made of genuine, thin-cut stone. You get the look and texture of designer stone tile at a fraction of the price. With its easy, peel and stick installation, Aspect Stone requires no contractor, grout, mortar, or complicated or expensive tools.
She details the start of the project in a blog post, and gives some helpful tips on the way. Since she was doing the project during halftime of a football game and didn’t want to disturb the homeowners too much, she still has a bit left to do. The conclusion of the project will be detailed in a later post.
We are loving the results these Minnesota Vikings fans got with their new kitchen backsplash (even though we’re diehard Packers fans).
Thanks for sharing your experience, Wendy!
